Historic Building of Kent
Molland House, set behind a fine avenue of old lime trees, has a very interesting history and has been written about in many books such as “A Corner of Kent, Ash-next-Sandwich” and of course the famous “Hasted’s History of Kent”
It is one of Ash’s finest manor houses, there are eleven of the original twelve left. Owned by Sir Christopher Septvans alias Harfleet in 1561, the house still has heraldic glass showing his coats of arms.
